**Tips for shopping @ Walgreens**

I have found Walgreens to be one of the hardest places to coupon! But please do not let this stop you since you can find AMAZING deals there!! Instead I am going to point out some tips to help you!! I will eventually being making a video with tips for stores but since I am unable to do that at this moment this will have to do!! If you have any tips that I have not covered PLEASE comment and let us know!! And if you don't understand PLEASE comment and ask questions!!! :)

* Walgreens does NOT have a store card, this can be a good thing and a bad. We will talk about this more in the next tip.
* Since you don't have a store card this means you can get "Rewards" deals more then once, however you need to do the following,
     * Make sure you split your transactions up, for example, say Crest toothpaste is on sale 2 for $5 and when you buy 2 you get a $2 reward. You can buy 6 but make sure each transaction only contains 2 Crest toothpastes.
     * Next you can NOT pay for a item and get a reward buy using the same reward. Let me clarify this, using the example above, if you buy 6 Crest toothpaste, paying for 2 at a time, you can not use your reward from the 1st transactions of Crest toothpaste for the 2nd or 3rd transactions. Your NEW reward will NOT print!!
     * If you have a reward from a different item that CAN be used on another item to get a reward. For example, If you get your Crest reward, you can use it for say Aussie Shampoo that has a reward. ((I hope this all makes sense so far!!))
* Another trick you must remember while shopping at Walgreens (one that I ALWAYS forget) You have to have as many items as coupons!! This means if you are stacking coupons (or using rewards) you must have what couponers call "filler" items. For example say you have a manufacturer coupon for Tylenol and you are using a Walgreens coupon or reward, you MUST have 2 items. A filler item is something small (usually a few cents to create another item). Walgreens alot of times has pencils, small packs of gum, ect that are low priced that give you another item!!

Here is a example using ALL rules!!

Buy 4 Crest Toothpastes, get $2 reward for every 2 purchased PLUS Use 4, $1.00/1 coupons
Buy 2 Aussie Shampoo, Use 2 manufacturer coupons and 2 Rewards

Since you have 6 items and 8 coupons (4 for toothpaste + 4 for shampoo) you will need 2 "filler" items to equal out your product to coupon ratio.
For this we will add 2 pencils.

Transaction 1
2 Crest Toothpaste (2 coupons)
Get 1 Reward

Transaction 2
2 Crest Toothpaste (2 coupons)
Get 1 Reward
2 Aussie Shampoo (2 manufacturer coupons 2 rewards)
2 Pencils

This trip would leave you with 2 rewards from your Crest!!

I hope this makes sense to everyone!!! Please ask questions if not!! Sometimes it makes more sense to the person writting it then the person reading it!! Lol
